Veterans
We honor and serve those who served us. Many veterans face unique challenges after their service, including homelessness, PTSD, and difficulty re-entering civilian life. Our program provides veterans with not just stable housing, but also access to community resources, mental health support, and a sense of belonging. At Handle With Care, we help veterans rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose in a safe, respectful environment where they are truly valued.
Extended Foster Care
Aging out of the foster care system can be an overwhelming and vulnerable time for young adults. Without strong family support or housing stability, many find themselves at risk of homelessness. We offer a safe and structured environment where they can transition into adulthood with confidence. Through life skills training, mentorship, and emotional support, we empower youth in extended foster care to become self-sufficient and hopeful for the future.
Senior Citizens
Our homes are open to senior citizens who may be experiencing housing instability, isolation, or a lack of support. We believe that every elder deserves comfort, safety, and dignity. In our care, seniors receive more than a roof over their heads — they gain access to companionship, respectful assistance, and a warm, welcoming space to age in peace. We foster a sense of community where their needs are prioritized and their stories are honored.
Behavioral Health
Stable housing is a critical part of mental and emotional well-being. We offer safe and supportive living spaces for individuals managing behavioral health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other mental health challenges. Our compassionate approach emphasizes respect, empathy, and encouragement, giving residents the space and resources they need to stabilize, heal, and take steps toward a healthier, more independent life.
Recovery & More
Recovery is not just about breaking free from addiction — it’s about rebuilding a life. At Handle With Care, we provide supportive housing for individuals in recovery, helping them maintain sobriety while accessing tools for lasting change. From group support and accountability to job-readiness and personal development, our recovery homes are rooted in hope, healing, and community. Each resident is encouraged to rediscover their worth and move forward with strength.
